King Faisal University weighted score calculator
Admission to King Faisal University's health colleges runs in two stages. At the initial application your score is 30% GPA, 30% GAT and 40% SAAT, against a published threshold of 85% (80% for Applied Medical Sciences, male applicants only). Those who clear it are re-scored after the written health exam under a different formula: 20% GPA, 25% GAT, 30% SAAT and 25% for the written exam.

The first stage gets you to the written exam, not into the college. The second formula reduces the weight of everything you arrived with — the GPA from 30% to 20%, the GAT from 30% to 25% — to make room for a quarter of the mark from a single day's exam. An applicant who entered stage two comfortably can leave it without a seat.

Why does KFU have two formulas for its health colleges?
Because health admission runs in two stages: a first formula selects who is called to the written health exam, and a second re-ranks the remaining candidates once that exam is marked. Each stage carries its own weights.
How much does the written health exam count at KFU?
25% of the final score at the second stage — a full quarter of your mark. That makes it the second heaviest component after the SAAT, and heavier than the high school GPA at that stage.
What is the minimum weighted score for KFU health colleges?
85% for male and female applicants per the published admission conditions, except the College of Applied Medical Sciences at 80% for male applicants only. This is an application threshold, not an admission guarantee.
Does my high school GPA matter less after the written exam?
Yes, explicitly. Its weight falls from 30% at the first stage to 20% at the second, and the GAT from 30% to 25%. An applicant relying on a strong GPA alone loses part of that advantage at this point.
How do I calculate my second-stage score at KFU?

Does clearing the first stage guarantee a health college seat?
